Hi y’all!! I am a Georgia girl born at “Ft. Mac” and raised as an “Air Force brat”. As most of you know this means we moved around a lot while growing up. My dad’s last assignment ended up in Marietta when I was twelve and there I grew up and graduated. I met my husband, Kirk, who was working as a glassblower and started me in his business as well. We were married in 1975 and moved to Warner Robins to join another husband/wife team to open a glassblowing shop in the “soon to be opened” Macon Mall.

Our work later took us to South Florida where my husband went from glassblowing to welding and millwright work. I also changed careers and worked for over sixteen years in the billing and insurance departments for some wonderful orthopaedic surgeons and physical therapy offices.

However, my heart was still in Georgia and in April 2000 we returned to Warner Robins with our “then” teenage daughter, Kelly. Since living here my daughter graduated from HoCo and has married. I am proud to say I am also a “Nana” to four beautiful grandchildren which include a set of twins that arrived in 2013.

I was able to join the Cantrell Center family in September 2000. Working here has given me the opportunity to meet and work a lot of wonderful people. Since starting at the Cantrell Center, I have not only seen my own family grow but have also been able to watch the growth of our office as well. We have grown from a small staff and office on Carl Vinson Road to a much larger staff and the beautiful building we now enjoy.

I look forward to our grandchildren growing up in Warner Robins because of the small town feel and hope that their heart will always belong in Georgia just like their Nana’s!
