Telehealth/ E-Visit

Thank you for scheduling a Telehealth Physical Therapy Appointment with the Cantrell Center for Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.

To be ready to receive treatment from your therapist, please do the following:

  • Make sure your video device (computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone) is positioned in such a way that your therapist can see your bed or exercise mat, chair, and area of treatment.

 The list represents items that may be used in your session. Please review the following so you can be best prepared:

  • Pillows
  • Towel Roll
  • Theraband / Theratube
  • Bar (Broomstick, yardstick, PVC pipe)
  • A person for support and assistance

Disclaimer:  Telehealth is the delivery of health care services using interactive audio and/or video technology, where the patient and therapist are not in the same physical location. During your telehealth appointment, your physical therapist may discuss details of your medical or health history and personal health information through the use of interactive audio, video, and/or other telecommunications technology, and the physical therapist may perform an assessment through these technologies.

Before consenting to receive our services as telehealth physical therapy, you should know that some interventions cannot be provided through telehealth means and some may result in a better outcome when provided in-person. We consider the complexity of your condition, your knowledge, skills, and abilities, and the nature and complexity of the physical therapy intervention(s) we will be providing and we will let you know if you would be best served by in-person examination and/or treatment.
