Alissa Gallaher
Water Aerobics Instructor (PRN)

Hello, my name is Alissa Gallaher. I grew up in a complete military home, so I have lived all over the United States. I was born in Augusta, GA. I have also lived in Kentucky, California, and several areas across the state of Georgia. I graduated from Peach County High School in 2018. My freshman year of college I went to small school called Emmanuel College where I was on a soccer scholarship. After my first year, I decided to transfer to Georgia Southern University in Savannah, GA where I finished my last three years of college and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Science in May of 2022.

Growing up, I was all about playing sports. Many times, I would be playing several sports at the same time. Soccer was and is still my favorite to this day but, I also was part of a swim team, gymnastics team, basketball team, volleyball team, cross country team, tennis team and even a water polo team. Once I got to high school, I narrowed those sports down to just soccer and cross country.

In my free time, I still enjoy playing soccer on local teams and running. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and fur babies. I try my best to continue to stay active, eat clean, and live an overall healthy lifestyle each day.

I am so grateful to be part of the Cantrell Center family! It is truly inspiring seeing individuals come in each day working hard to reach their health goals. The amount of success stories I have heard and had a glimpse of while at the Cantrell Center takes an extreme amount of dedication and willpower from an individual and makes me very proud to be part of this team!
